Raquel M. Teixeira is an associate with the firm, where she exclusively practices family and matrimonial law. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. Raquel graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University in 2019 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Religious Studies. She then graduated magna cum laude from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2022 earning her Juris Doctor.
Throughout law school, Raquel interned with the Pace Women’s Justice Center where she zealously advocated for victims of domestic violence. Raquel also interned at the Office of Law Guardian where she dedicated her time to children involved in abuse and neglect cases. She had the privilege to serve as a judicial intern for the Honorable Christine M. Vanek, J.S.C and the Honorable Magali M. François J.S.C. where she handled a wide range of family law matters. A child of divorce, Raquel knew from a young age that family law was her calling and passion.
Upon graduation, Raquel returned to Judge François’ chambers and served as the Judicial Law Clerk. During her clerkship, Raquel gained valuable insight to the inner working of Family Court. Since her clerkship, Raquel has dedicated her practice to family and matrimonial law. She is committed to her clients, always striving for the best possible resolution. Raquel has extensive experience in family law matters including but not limited to family dissolution, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, and matrimonial matters.
Raquel is an active member of the New Jersey Bar and Young Lawyers Division. She is bilingual and speaks Portuguese fluently. When not at the office, Raquel is likely spending time with her dog, Bazzy. Raquel is also an avid reader and enjoys a wide range of novels, including historical fiction and fantasy.
