Patrick W. Harrington is Of Counsel to the O’Cathain Law Group, LLC where his practice is limited to family law, having practiced in this area for over 35 years.
Patrick’s responsibilities encompass all aspects of divorce and family law from the time a client retains our firm, through preparation for trial or settlement, and final resolution. In addition to divorce cases his practice includes representation prior to marriage, i.e. preparation and review of premarital agreements, as well as resolution of issues after judgment is entered and where needed appellate work, as well as non-dissolution matters.
Patrick is a graduate of the Seton Hall University School of Law and, upon graduation, clerked for the late Hon. Sylvan G. Rothenberg, J.S.C., who was then assigned to the family part in Passaic County, New Jersey. This clerkship piqued his interest in family law and propelled him to what has now been a long career concentrating on that field. He is noted for his work ethic on behalf of his clients, always seeking the best possible result for them while they navigate what is inevitably a difficult period in their lives and, at the same time, offering an empathetic ear.
